But when we would put it in backwards drive it would go. The boat is only about three years old and we have recently had a new “referbished” starter put in. Also what happens if you leave the blower on once you have already started up the boat and all looks good and you are out in the water. We left the blower on today for about 10 minutes after starting the boat.

Boating Question? We Took Our Boat Out And It Would Stall After Just A Few Minutes?
Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009Why Do We Have A Fear Of Flying? Why No Fear Of Driving Or Boating? Is An Airplane As Much In Element As Car?
Tuesday, July 14th, 2009Even if you don’t drive a car or control a boat you can easily figure out what is going on around you as a passenger. Many people have no idea about the physics of flight or the mechanics of modern air travel. It’s a fear of the unknown.
It’s also a control issue.
Do We Have To Be Seated In Seats While Boating Or Can We Sit On The Floor?
Monday, June 29th, 2009I am looking at buying a used boat. It has two seats in it. but is big enough for more. I have two adults and two children that will go out in it. One seat is at the steering wheel, the other is attached behind it, like a back-to-back seat. there was another seat, but it is missing. I just dont know if they are necessary or not. Also does anyone know if boats need to be insured, like a car? We live in Ohio. And will probably be boating on lake erie.

Sunday, June 21st, 2009Have you noticed we have a inordinate number of “thumbs down” in the forum. Answers that I find spot on have received multiple thumbs down, including my own. If you truly believe you have a better answer, then give it. If you are just out to play spoiler, go elsewhere. And BTW, I feel sorry for you.

What Do We Need To Know About Boating On The Missouri River?
Friday, June 12th, 2009We just bought a 1999 Bayliner, open bow, 18ft. We want to use it this summer for boating on the Missouri river. We have never owned or driven a boat before, but my parents had one all my life so I have always been around them. We always went to the lake tho and I know the river is alot different. What’s the best way to get started and what do we need to know? We’ve already taken the MO conservation test online. What next? Thanks!
