Florida Boating - How Can I Get A Title And Registar My Boat?

Monday, July 27th, 2009

First of all, it didn’t come with a title and its a 1973 16′ dumpy sailboat that I only paid $200 bucks for… Also, I’m aware that Florida law states any boat 16′ and undrer, I don’t need to have it registered or titled so long as I don’t put a motor on it.. No problem… However, I want something that can prove I own it in case someone steals it or takes. I’ll be leaving it on a mooring out in the harbour.. A bill of sale ( which I have and the Craiglist advert ) isn’t going to cut the mustard here. The old owner is no where to be located. Whats the loop-hole if known? Thanks

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

I’m hoping to go jet boating down the Huon River around October this year. Has anybody else done it? Any advice? Opinions? Is it hard to book to do it? Is it something that would be easily done for somebody with mobility problems? (I’m taking my mother along). Is it really jarring on the joints?

Why Was Boating A Popular Diversion During The Impressionist Period?

Saturday, July 25th, 2009

The impressionists were the first to paint the outdoors while out of the doors! ;o) Up to that time they painted mostly in studios and didn’t get out to paint.
Why so many boats you ask?…
These were pre-aviation times and boats were the most important mode of transportation as well as a status symbol if private. They were a way of life as cars and planes and busses are now. They were a common site.
Impressionism is my favorite style of painting after realism.
Great question!!! ;o)
