Do Boating Offenses Affect Your Motor Vehicle Record?
I received a ticket while driving a jet ski on the water for “Excessive speed within 50 feet of a motor boat”. It is a $25.00 fine. Will this offense go on my motor vehicle record for driving a car?

Just recently read about this somewhere (sorry I don’t remember where). While the state wants you to believe that it affects your driving record, the truth is that the way the states laws are written, it shouldn’t. When challenged, the states ALWAYS back down and remove the points from the driving record!
It varies by state, But if it was a DUI or OWI, yes it does affect your license anywhere in the U.S., not sure about the speeding infractions……
